The Editor’s Note…

I caught myself chuckling as i thought about how i’ve been anxiously waiting for this day.I am honoured to write my first ever Fashion Piece,Hoping that you will enjoy it and many other upcoming pieces. In this piece i will just give you an introduction of myself and what i’m all about!
I have’nt always been a girly girl believe me,i still get a mini heart attack everytime i look at my childhood pictures,LOL let’s just say dresses and ribbons were not my thing, hope you get the picture.I grew up in Boarding school, being the only child at home.Graduated from high school,at NorthBury Park in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZuluNatal in 2009 and decided to enroute to Pretoria in 2010. I started off with a course in Tourism Management, graduated within 1 year but I knew I had not been destined for it,so i started studying Fashion Design. I have so much hunger for Fashion&it’s relevance to my life makes me more curious.I’m inspired by people, buildings, nature,

photography, art, music, and other things. I started blogging because i want to raise awareness about Fashion,Keep Financially dissadvantaged people on the loop and mostly to Change societies perceptions about Fashion,Style and Eloquency.I hope i make a difference.

Love your fashion piece. I am from Howick :),went to boarding school in PMB at Heritage Academy.
I wanted to let you know that I love your work and let you know about Indiemode. We are a proudly South African online females fashion store. We look for aspiring fashion designers and help them get the exposure they are looking for,in terms of selling their clothes. Since you want to raise awareness on fashion I figured you could use Indiemode. For any more information on Indiemode, just email me,so I can put you through to my mentor.

You can take a look at our website indiemode.co.za.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
