This year, the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival Powered by LottoStar is set to deliver an unforgettable celebration of flavour, sound, and culture. Taking place on 20 and 21 September at the legendary Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, the festival promises a feast of dynamic activations, eclectic performances, and experiences that bridge generations, genres, and styles across two electrifying stages.

South Africans have always embraced creativity that blends the traditional with the contemporary, the local with the global, and this year’s festival carries that spirit forward. On Sunday, the spotlight will shine on uplifting gospel with Joyous Celebration Rewind, joined by alumni including award-winning Khaya Mthetwa. The soulful journey continues with Mandisi Dyantyis, whose stirring fusion of indigenous African sounds and jazz has won international acclaim, and Zoë Modiga, a rising star recognised with both Glamour’s Woman of the Year: Musician Game Changer Award and the Standard Bank Young Artist Award.

The stage will then welcome the triumphant return of South Africa’s Afro-soul queen, Lira, bringing her signature blend of afropop, R&B, and jazz. The festival crescendos with a once-in-a-lifetime performance by the iconic Ms. Lauryn Hill, who reunites with longtime collaborator Wyclef Jean as part of the 25th Anniversary Tour of her legendary album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Fans can look forward to classics like Zion, Doo Wop (That Thing), and Everything Is Everything, as Lauryn is joined on stage by Zion Marley and YG Marley. With her landmark debut named Apple Music’s Best Album of All Time, South Africans now have the chance to relive the magic—live and in full glory.
Beyond the main stage, the Channel O Dance Stage will bring an eclectic mix of talent, while food, art, and fashion activations showcase the vibrancy and diversity of South African culture. With its signature fusion of global excellence and local flair, the 12th edition of DStv Delicious promises a weekend of timeless sounds and bold cultural expression.
“It’s incredible to be back at the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, and we can’t wait to welcome fans to a weekend that celebrates us all through music and food as we come together during Heritage Month,” says Funeka Peppeta, Marketing Director of The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival Powered by LottoStar. “We’re proud to reveal Sunday’s phenomenal lineup, with Saturday’s headliners and the Channel O Dance Stage artists still to come. This year’s experience will be one for the books—world-class music paired with culinary, art, and fashion moments that reflect our rich diversity.”
