Featuring collaborations with DJ Vino, KMAT, Tumza D’kota, EI. Stephano, Trixx and Calvin Fallo, the project explores a more energetic, club-focused side of the acclaimed Amapiano producer.

South African DJ and multi-platinum music producer Abidoza is back with a full-length project. In September, he released “Club What” featuring Djy Vino, followed by “Chomi” alongside Djy Vino and KMAT, featuring Trixx. Now he has delivered the complete eight-track EP, Club Controller, which features Calvin Fallo, Tumza D’kota, EI. Stephano, KMAT, Trixx and Djy Vino.

Having introduced listeners to this new sound through the two singles, Abidoza now brings it all together on Club Controller. The project draws in a wider circle of collaborators and gives listeners a fuller picture of this side of his artistry.

For years, Abidoza has been known for his smooth, soulful Amapiano sound, delivering records such as “Baby Boy”, “Siyathandana” and “Dinaledi”. On Club Controller, he switches things up, turning up the energy and stepping into a sound that puts DJs and the dancefloor front and centre.

“With Club Controller, I wanted to put together music that brings a certain energy. Each track has its own vibe, and having these different artists come into the mix made the project even more exciting. Now that the full EP is out, I can’t wait for people to get into it, for DJs to pick up the tracks and for the music to find its way onto the dancefloor,” says Abidoza.

Across the project, Abidoza explores music designed to move between streaming platforms, DJ sets and dancefloors. The EP also puts his work as a performing DJ in focus, complementing the soulful production that has become a defining part of his catalogue.

Club Controller is Abidoza’s invitation to turn up the volume and take things to the dancefloors.
