Ndivhuwo Elaine Mukheli is a South African R&B singer and songwriter. The star released her debut EP Elements in 2019, and the EP went on to become an international sensation, a Platinum – certified bestseller in South Africa. In 2020 Elaine made her international debut when she jumped from being an independent artist to being signed with international music label Columbia Records.

• Elaine was the first South African independent artists to have major internationally recognized success. In September of 2019 while studying law at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, she self-released her debut EP Elements. The EP reached No. 1 on both the national iTunes and Apple Music album charts, making her the first independent female artist to do so.

• In 2021 Elaine’s song You’re The One from her EP Elements won an award at the South African Music Awards for Best Streamed Song Of The Year.

• In 2021 Elaine was nominated for the BET Awards under the Best International Act category. In the same year she was subsequently nominated for the MTV Africa Music Awards, and the African Muzik Magazine Awards in which she won the award for Best Female – in Southern Africa. In 2022 she was nominated by the Headies under Best Southern African Artiste Of The Year.

• The star is originally from Limpopo – South Africa – however she was born is the Capital of Pretoria in 1999, she is 24 years old.

• In 2022 she was one of the highlighted Artists to perform at the prestigious Miss South Africa pageant.

Elaine’s latest project is called Loving You, a song she created with South African artist Blxckie. The song is a fusion between Amapiano and R&B and is available on all streaming platforms.
